Great news commercially for the club. Just goes to show that despite the image thats been portrayed in the past in debates on here about whether we're a negative lot, when the chips are down the fan base always rallies round the club. Despite the highs of the late 80s and early 90s, to me the last 5 or 6 years have shown that Dover fans are at their best in times of adversity and thats what will always keep this club strong.

Spot there DoverBhoy, even during our darkest times in the depths of Ryman league South we were still averaging over 700 through the turnstiles. Quite remarkable support considering the relegations and administration looming.

I'm sure that was one of the reasons why we never went under, we were close, but that magnificent belief we had as supporters demonstated that the club was worth saving to those that invested and salvaged the wreckage from the jaws of total oblivion !!!
