This is primarily a facility for supporters of Dover Athletic Football Club, and whilst we welcome visitors and contributors from other areas of non-league football, we ask you to respect our forum and its members:
- No personally offensive remarks (such as obscene, racist, sexist or threats of a physical nature), or libellous posts.
- You are responsible for what you post, so think about what you write, make sure it's on the appropriate board and try to stay on the topic.
- When starting a new thread, check that there isn't already one dealing with the subject, to avoid unnecessary repetition.
- Use the Private Messaging system if you wish to communicate directly with another user, rather than the discussion boards.
- Do not try to beat the swear filter, this is a family forum and it is here for a reason.
- Avoid copying articles from other online sources directly on to the board. If you do quote another source then provide a link to the original article in your posting, as a courtesy to the original author and so that the quotes can be verified.
Whilst we do not want to suffocate free debate and freedom of speech we will not stand for any abuse of this forum. Users that post solely to tarnish the good name of Dover Athletic, launch thinly veiled attacks on the people who give up their time purely for the love of the club, or make personal remarks to other forum users will not be tolerated and will have their forum privileges removed.
If you feel that any posts, or users, are contravening these guidelines, you can alert the Moderators of it by clicking on the report button (a red exclamation mark in a warning triangle) on the top right hand corner of the posting, near the "Quote" button. This will take you to a screen that will walk you through the reporting process, and the post will then be referred to the Moderating Team for review. You can also email the Administrators directly at: dovorian@live.co.uk
We will endeavour to issue a yellow card to individuals who break the rules, but there may be occasions where a straight red is the preferred option. The Mods will not hesitate to apply that if it is considered appropriate.
Finally please enjoy this facility and make good use of it.
